A Short History...

Augustine Gripoix established her Paris glass jewellery shop in the late 1800s, creating pieces for early couture houses, such as Worth and Paul Poiret. She also designed pieces for the legendary stage actress Sarah Bernhardt. In the 1920s, Augustine'd daughter, Suzanne, began working with Coco Chanel and Gripoix's creative relationship with the legendary French fashion house has lasted through to today. Gripoix also produced jewellery independantly under their own label, such as these earrings.
