The Details...

This brushed and polished gold tone metal necklace features large and small oval shaped links. The large links are inlaid with navy blue plastic panels. The necklace fastens with a snap-lock (fold-over) clasp which is detailed with two back to back ‘G’s. The necklace is signed - 'GIVENCHY', a copyright symbol is stamped into the reverse of both 'G's.  The necklace is 78cm long. To learn more about Givency jewellery, visit our 'Designers' section.

A Short History...

This necklace is emblematic of the of the craze for gold tone pieces that perpetuated throughout the Eighties. Givenchy's creations sprung forth from the pages of Vogue on the likes of Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell. It is easy to imagine such supermodels wearing this piece, as they stare powerfully from a double-page spread wearing sharp shouldered suits.
