1930s Brass and Enamel Parisian Landmarks Vintage Bracelet

A lovely memento from a special city, this bracelet was created in France in the 1930s and has been wonderfully well-preserved.

The Details...

Constructed from brass, this bracelet features 9 panels linked togather. Each one is detailed with a selection of famous Parisian landmarks in enamel. The bracelet fastens with a bolt ring and measures 19cm.

A Short History...

Thanks to significant developments in technology and foreign travel increasing in affordability, jewellery for tourists began to tbe created en masse from the 1930s onwards. This bracelet is an Art Deco example of French souvenir jewellery. Due to their mass production, it is unusual to find a tourist bracelet in as good condition as this example.
