The Details...

This silver tone bracelet is detailed with a gothic style design and leaf shapes enhanced by red enamel. The bracelet also features round, clear, faceted rhinestones and square and rectangular carnelian glass panels. The bracelet fastens with a box clasp. This bracelet is 18cm long.

A Short History...

Glass has been a prevelant feature of costume pieces since the invention of jewellery, as it's an easily accessible material that can be formed into any shape and dyed any colour. Glass was heavily used in 1930s pieces, such as this bracelet, because it could be molded into a vast array of shapes to meet the need for affordable jewellery after the First World War.

This bracelet is perfect for evening wear or a special occasion. It would look beautiful with red velvet accents, such as shoes or a blazer.
