The Details...

This silver tone bracelet is detailed with round and baguette cut clear rhinestones. All of the stones are faceted and claw-set. The bracelet fastens with box clasp, which means the closure is invisible when fastened. There is also a safety chain for added security and demonstrating the importance and value of the piece to the wearer at the time. The bracelet measures 19cm in length and is 3.5cm wide.

A Short History...

This bracelet is emblematic of the 'Cocktail Style' of costume jewellery being produced and worn during the 1950s and 1960s. In the post-war world there was a craze for costume jewellery that was ostentatious and glitzy; featuring stones in outlandish sizes or large numbers. This form of jewellery was referred to as 'cocktail' because it was commonly worn to a way of gathering together that was becoming increasingly popular - the cocktail party.

Wear it With...

This bracelet is perfect for evening or a special occasion. It would look beautiful with a little black dress, but equally chic with a minimal satin bridal colum gown.
