Ciner 1970s Gold Plate, Enamel and Rhinestone Vintage Elephant Bangle

Condition Report:

Very Good - A safety catch is possibly missing from this piece. However, the bracelet still fastens securely without it. This is barely visible and does not detract from the appeal of the bangle.

The Details...

This gold plated bangle takes the form of an elephant. It is detailed with rich brown enamel and is accented with small, round, clear rhinestones. The eyes and head of the elephant are detailed with black glass, oval shaped cabochons. The tusks are enamelled in white. The bangle is hinged and fastens with a box clasp. It is signed - ‘CINER’ in two places and a copyright symbol is stamped onto the inside of the bangle. The internal diameter of the bangle is 6cm.

The Ciner company is well known for its creation of richly detailed animal bangles. They are very collectable. This particular creation dates from the 1970s.
