A Short History...

The popularity of the use of faux pearls within costume jewellery is undeniable. Between the 1920s and 1960s, they were enjoying a heyday, as they made pieces more affordable than rhinestone examples and were acceptable for daywear too. Famous costume jewellery brands, such as Chanel and Miriam Haskell, used faux pearls prolifically and lesser known, but none-the-less highly skilled companies, like Kramer followed suit.
