The Details...

This brooch, although unhallmarked, is highly likely to be silver. An oval shape, it is detailed with a beading design around its outer edge. The brooch features the symbolic motifs of a horseshoe, ivy, forget-me-nots and ferns. The brooch fastens with a 'C' clasp and the fastening pin is fitted to the brooch with a tube hinge. This brooch measures 3.5cm x 2.75cm.
