The Details...

These earrings are gold tone. They feature a floral design which climbs the ear in a cuff style. The design is made up of navette and round, faceted, claw set, aurora borealis rhinestones. The earrings are 3cmx 4cm.

All of our clip earrings are provided with removable pads for additional comfort, should you require it.

A Short History...

The use of aurora borealis rhinestones in costume jewellery was popular in the 1950s. Swarovski began putting an iridescent coating on stones in 1955 and from then their use became widespread. The rainbow effect from the stones was thought to resemble the Northern Lights and so the name Aurora Borealis was coined to describe them.

Wear it With...

A delicate floral print would be the perfect accompaniment for these earrings, perhaps on a pair of cigarette pants paired with silk shirt.
