These beautiful earrings were created c.1900. They are for pierced ears. 

Condition Report:

Very Good - There is some rubbing to the reverse of the earrings and to the mounts of the pastes nearest the hooks. This is consistent with age and use and is barely visible, especially when the earrings are worn.

The Details...

Constructed from silver tone metal and detailed with paste stones, these earrings are a pendeloque style. They date from c.1900 and are most likely Czechoslovakian. They measure 6cm x 2cm and have hooks for pierced ears.

A Short History...

Elongated earrings featuring a statement stone suspending a bow motif from which dangle other stones in a drop design are known as Pendeloques. This design of earring first took shape in the Georgian era, but was again resurrected in the Belle √Čpoque and Edwardian eras during which these earrings here were created.
