The Details...

These gold plated earrings feature square shaped, open-work panels. Each panel is detailed at its centre with the Christian Dior logo. The earrings are clip on. They are signed - 'Chr.Dior' and a copyright symbol is stamped into the reverse of each panel and clip along with 'GERMANY'. These earrings are 4.5cm x 4.5cm.

A Short History...

These earrings were created by the German company, Henkel and Gross√©, for Christian Dior. In 1955, Dior invited the company to enter into a license agreement with them to manufacture and distribute their jewellery. This was the start of a very successful relationship between the two brands. These earrings represent the lush gold plated pieces created by Gross√© for Dior in the 1970s and 1980s. They also feature a logo which was originally designed for a brooch created for the house in the 1950s.

Wear it With...

These earrings are a wardrobe essential - enabling you to add Dior's elegance and cool to any look. Pair them with a softly tailored trouser suit by day and wear them with a cocktail dress in neutral tones for evening.
