Delicate earrings from Christian Dior, created in the 1990s, when John Galliano was head of design.

Condition Report:

Very Good - A couple of tiny areas of scuffing to the surface of the faux pearls. This is only visible upon extremely close inspection and does not detract from the overall appeal of the earrings.

A Short History...

Examples of Christian Dior jewellery from the 1990s and the early 2000s are becoming highly collectable and will certainly be antiques of the future eventually. This is because they represent the era during which the controversial designer John Galliano was at the helm. He specialised in producing collections that embraced fantasy, whilst nodding to the heritage of Dior and its position as a global superbrand. Galliano was a creative tour de force, with both excellent design skills and imagination. These earrings are a chance to own an accessible and evocative item by a gentleman who will forever be a part of fashion history.

Wear it With...

The delicacy of these earrings make them perfect for casual wear - pair them with cream coloured knits and biker boots.
