A Short History...

These earrings are a perfect example of Jean Paul Gaultier's statement designs and love of other cultures. In the early Nineties, Gaultier was enjoying a time of great popularity. His work provided an antithesis to the minimalism of designers like Calvin Klein. Lovers of the avant garde could visit his stores to splurge on jewellery that reflected their style. It is doubtless that this pair of earrings would have made their way to the checkout with a daring fashionista.

Wear it With...

These earrings would look sensational paired with a denim shirt and red midi-skirt for day and a one shouldered black dress for evening.
