A Short History...

In the 1970s, jewellery that would shimmer under a disco ball was essential. These earrings would have been the perfect accompaniment to the block coloured maxi dress and glitter platforms that could have been worn at the time of its manufacture. As they are a Kenneth Jay Lane piece one could easily imagine these earrings having been worn on the dancefloor at Studio 54. They are highly remeniscent of an era of decadant disco.
