A Short History...

The Monet company catered extensively for the demand for classic gold tone pieces in the 1980s and early 1990s. Women wanted practical designs that would function in the workplace, as much as they would look elegant with evening wear. Well crafted, gold plated earrings, such as these, were consequently a popular purchase in department stores accross the USA and UK during the final decades of the twentieth century. They were crucial to the enduring appeal of Monet jewellery.
