The Details...

These gold tone metal earrings feature a flower motif created from grey faux pearls detailed with a central large round topaz coloured rhinestone. They are signed - 'TRIFARI' (with a crown above the 'T') is engraved into the back of each clip with a copyright symbol.

A Short History...

Glamourous and affordable rhinestone jewellery was still prevalent in the 1960s, even though the post-war necessity for it had obviously waned. What were kown as 'Cocktail' pieces - ostentatious sparklers - continued to be worn into the sixties.
