A Short History...

The eighties was a decade during which professional women were keen to demonstrate power and affluence via any avenue. Clothing and jewellery were the ideal means by which to make a statement without saying a word. Designers, such as Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix, produced loud, proud earrings to cater for loud, proud women. These earrings are typical of the bold pieces produced for 1980s women keen to assert their authority.
