The Details...

This silver tone metal (most likely Platinon) necklace features a bar chain, which is detailed at points along its length with square cut, claw set, clear and blue crystals. The ncklace has a pendant which features a large, hexagonal-cut, claw set bright blue crystal. Above it, there's a floral design detailed with small, round, clear pastes. The necklace fastens with a bolt ring and measures 42cm in length. The pendant measures 4.25cm x 2.5cm.

A Short History...

During the 1920s and early 1930s, jewellery was influenced by the dawn of a new era. There was a push for all things modern after the shock of the First World War - people wanted to be cleansed of the old and celebrate the new. In the world of design a pure, hard-edged style was craved. This resulted in linear, geometric and symmetrical jewellery designs, as can be seen in this beautiful necklace.

Wear it With...

This necklace is perfect for evening wear or a special occasion. It would look beautiful with a little black dress, but equally chic worn as a 'something blue' with a bridal gown.
