A Short History...

In the 1970s, jewellery that would shimmer under a disco ball was essential. This piece would have been the perfect accompaniment to the block coloured maxi dress and glitter platforms that could have been worn at the time of its manufacture. As it's a Dior piece, one could easily imagine this necklace having been worn on the dancefloor at Studio 54. It is highly remeniscent of an era of decadant disco.
