The Details...

This gold tone necklace fastens with a box clasp. It features a series of rectangular panels joined together by gold tone bars, so that the necklace moves with the wearer. These panels and bars are detailed with green and blue enamel clover-like designs. The necklace is 42cm in length, which is termed a 'Choker' style. The necklace is signed - it is stamped 'CINER' on the reverse of the clasp. To learn more about Ciner jewellery, visit our 'Designers' section.

A Short History...

In the 1970s, jewellery that would shimmer under a disco ball was essential. This piece would have been the perfect accompaniment to the block coloured maxi dress and glitter platforms that could have been worn at the time of its manufacture. As it's a Ciner piece (the company is known for its well made and glamorous items from New York) one could easily imagine this necklace having been worn on the dancefloor at Studio 54. It is highly remeniscent of an era of decadant disco.
