A Short History...

Examples of Christian Dior jewellery from the late 1990s and the early 2000s are becoming highly collectable and will certainly be antiques of the future eventually. This is because they represent the era during which the controversial designer John Galliano was at the helm. He specialised in producing collections that embraced fantasy, whilst nodding to the heritage of Dior and its position as a global superbrand. Galliano was a creative tour de force, with both excellent design skills and imagination - the quality of this necklace is testimony to this. This piece is a chance to own an accessible and evocative item by a gentleman who will forever be a part of fashion history.

Wear it With...

Although a very grand piece, this necklace works well with any form of style - it makes a dramatic statement with a full length black lace dress or looks ultra-cool with a black crew neck jumper and leather jacket.
