The Details...
This necklace features a gunmetal tone snake chain. It is threaded with gunmetal tone rondelle beads; red, oval shaped glass cabochons set in gold plated metal; and black enamel and gold plated metal discs set with triangular red glass cabochons. The necklace fastens with a hook and eye mechanism using an open-link chain and is adjustable in length. The maximum length of the necklace is 46cm. The necklace is signed - it features a charm detailed with the 'YSL' logo.

The work of Yves Saint Laurent was inspired by countries and cultures across the globe. His collections paid tribute to China, India, Africa and Spain, to name a few. This necklace is a stylised YSL interpretation of African tribal jewellery.
