The Details...

This gold plated necklace features four strands of rope chain. The necklace fastens with a decorative fold-over clasp which is designed to resemble a bow and can be worn at the front or back of the necklace. A Short History...

In the 1970s, jewellery that would shimmer under a disco ball was essential. The gold tone in this piece would have been a perfect accompaniment to a block coloured maxi dress and glitter platforms that could have been worn at the time of its manufacture. It is highly remeniscent of an era of decadant disco.
