The brooch also features a loop on its reverse, so that it may be worn as a pendant. The pieces are all signed. The earrings are stamped 'YSL' on the reverse of the clips and 'YSL. MADE IN FRANCE.' on the back of each earring. The brooch is also stamped 'YSL. MADE IN FRANCE.' on the reverse too. The brooch measures 6cm x 6cm and the earrings measure 6cm x 3cm.

All of our clip earrings are provided with removable pads for extra comfort.

A Short History...

The eighties was a decade during which professional women were keen to demonstrate power and affluence via any avenue. Clothing and jewellery were the ideal means by which to make a statement without saying a word. Designers, such as Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix, produced loud, proud jewels to cater for loud, proud women. This set is typical of the bold pieces produced for 1980s women keen to assert their authority.

Wear it With...

This set would look sensational paired with denim for day and a one shouldered black dress for evening - pin the brooch to the waist and wear the earrings with hair up.
