The Details...
This brooch is constructed from silver plated metal. it features a registration mark stamped onto its reverse which identifies it as such and indicates that it was registered on 13th February 1867. It features engraved designs and is set with Malachite panels. The fastening pin is fitted to the brooch with a tube hinge and the brooch fastens with a 'C' catch. The brooch measures 4.25cm in diameter. It comes with an antique box. However, it is doubtful that this is original to the piece, as the shop indicated inside the box was established after the brooch was made.
