The Details...
These earrings feature pressed coral coloured glass panels and small round coral glass beads. They are also detailed with Marcasite stones. The earrings secure to the ear with a screw-back mechanism, which is constructed from silver and is stamped '935'. The earrings measure 5cm x 1.5cm.

Glass and crystal have been a prevalent feature of costume pieces since the invention of jewellery. Easily accessible materials that can be formed into any shape. They were heavily used in 1920s and 1930s pieces, such as these earrings, because they could meet the need for affordable jewellery after the World War One and the Great Depression.

- If you wish to clean your jewellery, use a soft polishing cloth or a soft brush.
