    The Details...

    These gilded metal earrings feature a filigree floral inspired design, which climbs the ear. They are detailed with floral motifs accented with colourless and lilac round and pear cut rhinestones. All of the stones are multi-faceted and claw set. The earrings are clip on and each earring measures 3.5cm x 2.5cm.

    These earrings are the epitome of mid-century glamour. They represent the influence of nature upon fifties jewellery. Indeed, couturiers, such as Dior and Balenciaga, were heavily influenced by floral motifs and it is no surprise that other jewellery manufacturers were producing pieces that echoed Parisian trends.

    - Try not to drop your jewellery or catch your jewellery against hard surfaces. If this happens over time, the findings and fixings can loosen and wear.

    - Try not to get your jewellery wet. Some costume jewellery manufacturers utilised water soluble glue in the making of their pieces. Getting your jewellery wet could cause rhinestones and other details to fall away over time.

    - If you wish to clean your jewellery, use a soft polishing cloth or a soft brush.
