Art Deco 1920s Celluloid and Rhinestone Vintage Seahorse Brooch

This beautiful brooch is a lovely example of original Art Deco celluloid jewellery. The use of gilding upon the celluloid in this piece makes it highly likely to be the work of French plastic jewellery maker Auguste Bonaz.

    This wonderful Duette clip brooch was most created in France in the late 1930s. 

    Condition Report:

    Very Good - The push and pull mechanism on the trombone clasp is missing. However, the clasp still holds the fastening pin in place and keeps the brooch secure.
