The Details...
This Duette clip brooch is constructed from rhodium plated metal and is detailed with round and baguette cut paste stones, some of which are claw set, in varying sizes. The piece is signed - it is stamped on the reverse with 'Coro Duette' and 'Pat. No. 1798867'. The brooch mechanism fastens with a traditional safety catch and the fastening pin is attached to the brooch with a round hinge. The brooch is 7cm x 3cm and each individual clip is 3.5cm x 3cm.

A Short History...
Duette brooches are also known as double-clip brooches. They feature a pin-backed mount into which two dress clips can be inserted, so they can be worn together as one brooch or as two separate jewels.
Wear it With...
Brooches are an exceptionally simple way to add instant vintage styling to any look and interest to plain materials. Pin this piece onto a hat, lapel, collar, cuff, scarf, sleeve, waistline or bag - wear alone or with a selection.

- Try not to drop your jewellery or catch your jewellery against hard surfaces. If this happens over time, the findings and fixings can loosen and wear.
- Try not to get your jewellery wet. Some costume jewellery manufacturers utilised water soluble glue in the making of their pieces. Getting your jewellery wet could cause rhinestones and other details to fall away over time.
- If you wish to clean your jewellery, use a soft polishing cloth or a soft brush.
