    This pretty brooch dates from the early 1900s. The central motif is a lady styled so typically for the era in which this piece was made. 

    Condition Report:

    Very Good - Slight darkening to the fastening pin on the brooch. This is consistent with age and use and not visible when worn.

    The Details...

    This circular brooch with a fancy edging is detailed with a floral design and a lady wearing a bow choker. Motifs typical of the French Belle Époque era from which it dates. Although it bears no hallmarks, it is most likely silver. The fastening pin is attached to the brooch with a tube hinge and the brooch fastens using a 'C' catch. This brooch measures 2.75cm in diameter.
