The Details...

This gilded metal brooch features a star motif. It is detailed with faceted and claw set, round and baguette cut pink and grey rhinestones. The brooch fastens with a trombone clasp - commonly found on jewellery made in France - and the fastening pin attaches to the brooch with a round hinge. The brooch measures 4cm x 3.5cm.

- Try not to get your jewellery wet. Some costume jewellery manufacturers utilised water soluble glue in the making of their pieces. Getting your jewellery wet could cause rhinestones and other details to fall away over time.

- If you wish to clean your jewellery, use a soft polishing cloth or a soft brush.
