    The Details...

    This pendant is constructed from gold plated metal. It features a design inspired by pre-Columbian cultures, depicting an Eagle of another type of bird of prey. The pendant is set with an oval, green glass cabochon and green and blue glass, navette shaped, cabochons. The dimensions of the pendant are 7.5cm x 5cm The piece is signed - the reverse of the pendant is stamped 'CASTLECLIFF' with a copyright symbol. 

    A Short History...

    The wearing of ethnic and exotic jewellery was a great trend in the 1970s, inspired by the increasing popularity and affordability of world travel. Stars, such as Cher and Bianca Jagger, advocated the wearing of pieces influenced by East Asia and South America. This necklace was clearly produced to enable Castlecliff customers to emulate the stars of the time.

    - If you wish to clean your jewellery, use a soft polishing cloth or a soft brush.
